Findlay 9, Sylvania Southview 13

The Findlay Trojans Girls Varsity Lacrosse team hosted Sylvania Southview (6-7) on Senior Night at Donnell Stadium Monday and the Trojans would give everything they could to the Cougars who would eventually handle Findlay 13-9 on the night.

The Trojans offensively were led by Sophomore Co-Captain Sophie Griswold-Beltz who would score six goals on the night for Findlay. Sophomore Co-Captain Addy Patey would help the Trojans with 2 goals in the game. Senior Co-Captain Libby Holman would net a goal in her final home match of her high school career, a feat that is tough to accomplish.

Findlay was led defensively by Rylee Touhalisky who picked up 4 ground balls in the game. Sophie Griswold-Beltz would help out the Trojans by scooping up 3 ground balls. Eneyece Kunkle and Gabby Gomez would both end up with one caused turnover each for the Findlay defense.

Addison Kokensparger and Gabby Elliott would split time in net for the Trojans and would both come away with 1 save each.

Findlay (3-8-1) will wrap up their regular season Wednesday May 10 at Lima Senior 6 PM.
