Trojan Volleyball Knocks Off Southview

Caroline Kiffmeyer led Findlay with 21 digs and Anika Helms had a team-high 17 assists as the Trojans swept Sylvania Southview 25-19, 25-23, 23-15 in a Northern Lakes League volleyball match at the FHS Gymnasium on Tuesday.

Helms also had five digs and Kiffmeyer served up four aces for the Trojans, who snapped a four-match skid and improved to 4-5 overall, 2-3 in the NLL.

At the net, Ava Buddlemeyer (12 digs) pounded 10 kills, Davinee Harris had eight and Sadie Barnes added six.

Findlay will host Sylvania Northview (0-6) in another NLL match on Thursday.

JUNIOR VARSITY: Findlay, 25-21, 25-18.
FRESHMAN: Findlay, 25-27, 25-12, 25-14.
